Truly excited to announce my participation in three upcoming group exhibitions:

AURELIA GALLERY
"Drama"
Drama, a forever studied topic in art, has been up front and central globally since spring 2019, and continues to haunt us, whether through health, politics, war, climate change, etc., etc.

Exhibition Dates:  10/22/2021 -11/21/2021
Opening Reception:  Friday, 10/22/21, 5-7p

414 Canyon Road
Santa Fe, NM 87501

D'ART GALLERY
"Spot On #2"

Stretching the process, creating new ways of approaching it, coming to that spot on place of identifying your sweet spot. Each artist travels their own path, advancing as personal growth evolves. It may be a new vision or a polished approach.

E
xhibition Dates:  11/18/2021 -12/12/2021
Opening Reception:  Friday, 11/19/2021, 6-8p

900 Santa Fe Drive
Denver CO 80204

WAITING ROOM GALLERY
"Straddling the Line Between Abstraction and Representation"

Art that reveals how an artist’s abstract forms may subtly suggest recognizable forms or how ordinary objects can serve as a point of departure for an artist’s abstract vision. The works encompass a variety of oil and acrylic paintings with some also incorporating mixed media. Whether on the abstract or representational side of the line, all engage the viewer with their color, composition and other points of visual interest.

Exhibition Dates:  10/16/2021 -11/20/2021
Opening Reception:  10/16/21, 18.00-22.00

Closing Reception:  11/20/21, 18.00-22.00
3258 Larimer Street
Denver CO 80204

    STATEMENT

Kenneth Susynski presents a unique, hybrid style of figurative expressionism blended with the abstract in narrative compositions that stress an interpretation of beauty, with a hint of wit, exploring combinations of historical and contemporary cultural themes.

Having been raised primarily in Europe yet also in Turkey and Korea,  the influence of experiencing culture and custom combined with
countless visits to some of the world's great museums as a child formed his appreciation of art and, specifically, the figure.

A lifelong interest in historical and contemporary black-and-white photography shapes his rendering of the human form. Working in oils, his goal is to create fresh, vibrant works that are lastingly meaningful, timely and timeless, and evoke his spirit.
